Aydarus Ahmad Alhabshi
Founder & Chief Mentor, Revamp.sg

Aydarus has been dedicated to community development and youth mentorship for over two decades. From 1998 to 2007, he was a manager and teacher at Darul Furqan Education Centre before pursuing his studies at Dar Al-Mustafa in Tarim, Yemen, from 2008 to 2012. Upon returning to Singapore in 2012, he founded the Sarang Café and the Revamp Enrichment Centre at Bussorah Street, with the goal of engaging youth on their turf. In 2014, he established Relite Events to facilitate Islamic wedding ceremonies and provide services for other occasions such as baby showers, birthdays, housewarmings, Tahlil gatherings, and more. In 2017 he was appointed to manage the Hajjah Fatimah Mosque and served till 2021.

In 2023, he shifted his focus to the next generation, launching Bend the Bamboo, an enrichment program dedicated to nurturing the moral and spiritual development of children, especially those from the youth he had mentored.

Married with one daughter and a foster son, he is often affectionately called 'Abang' by the youth he mentors. Since 2013, he has been delivering motivational talks at Revamp’s signature session, The Remind Gig, where he connects with youths over supper and Revamp-tea, all free of charge. His workshops and sharing sessions have taken him to Brunei, Kuala Lumpur, and local events hosted by organizations such as Darul Arqam, the Muslim Society at the National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University (TCT), and the Muslim Youth Forum, among others.
