Aydarus Ahmad Alhabshi

Aydarus Ahmad Alhabshi has devoted over two decades to community development, youth mentorship, and meaningful grassroots engagement. From 1998 to 2007, he served as both manager and teacher at Darul Furqan Education Centre before continuing his studies at Dar Al-Mustafa in Tarim, Yemen. Upon returning to Singapore in 2012, he founded Sarang Café and Revamp, creating safe and welcoming spaces where youths could reconnect with faith through friendship, conversation, and trust. He later founded Relite Events Management and was entrusted with the management of Masjid Hajjah Fatimah from 2017 to 2021. In 2023, he launched Bend the Bamboo, an enrichment programme focused on nurturing the moral and spiritual development of children. Affectionately known to many as “Abang,” Aydarus continues to mentor youths and speak at gatherings and workshops locally and abroad, including in Brunei and Kuala Lumpur.
