The Percussion Workshop
THE PERCUSSION WORKSHOP
The workshop aims to groom our next generation in the tradition of Islamic celebrations and gatherings, providing our children with an alternative music experience full of praises for Allah and the Messenger. Participants will be trained to sing Qasidahs (poetries) and learn to play percussions (Darbuka and Tambourine), with an emphasis on good discipline in handling the instruments.
As an additional platform and exposure, selected participants will also be invited to perform in the monthly Mawlid held on the first Saturday of every month, as well as other private events that we conduct.

Level 1 (Beginners): 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Level 2 (*Intermediate): 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM
*For those who have graduated from our Level 1 program
Venue: 110 Victory Centre, Lorong 23 Geylang, #05-05, Singapore 388410

Fee: $160.00 (Total 8 hours)
Slots available: Open to 30 participants only
Note
Darbukas and Tambourines will be provided during the sessions.
Please ensure they come with energy - meaning breakfast/lunch to be taken prior!
Please wear casual
Bring along water bottle
Wear jackets & socks if necessary!

Registration is open to children ages 7 to 12
Please submit full name of parent and child as per in the Identification Card / Birth Certificate

Your child’s enrolment into our programme is confirmed only upon the complete and successful registration via our website
