Designed with children in mind, this extraordinary occasion is the perfect platform to introduce your little ones to a world of communal gathering, service (khidmah) and confidence-building, the Islamic way! Our talented young singers will serenade you and your family with songs that touch the soul. Our cute young story-tellers are guaranteed to put a "pac-man" smile upon every faces, and organically encourage all the young attendees to also be brave and confident in going up on stage! Our event creates an environment where children can discover their unique talents and learn to express themselves with confidence.

The Mawlid holds deep spiritual and cultural significance within our community, where we engage in reciting praises and blessings upon Prophet Muhammad ο·Ί, recounting stories from his life and teachings, and reflecting upon his noble character and exemplary conduct. His teachings and character serve as a source of inspiration and enlightenment to humankind. And through the Mawlid, we express our heartfelt appreciation for his role in conveying the message of Islam and guiding humanity towards righteousness.

The Qasidahs is another integral aspect of the Mawlid, which are melodious poems dedicated to praising Prophet Muhammad ο·Ί. The Qasidahs highlight his virtuous qualities, his immense love for Allah, and his selfless service to humanity. Listening to these enchanting and soul nourishing Qasidahs during the Mawlid uplifts the spirits of believers and deepens their connection with the Prophet ο·Ί.

Introducing a special highlight to our Mawlid celebration β "The Storytelling." This unique addition offers our children a chance to showcase their talents and narrate moral stories of Prophet Muhammad and his companions in English. This segment not only boosts their bravery and confidence but also serves as a valuable opportunity for everyone present to delve into the Prophet's extraordinary good manners, values, and teachings. The participating children are given gifts as tokens of appreciation to boost their minds, ensuring that this innovative storytelling initiative becomes a cherished and enlightening part of our Mawlid tradition.

Held predominantly on the first Saturday of the month, at 8.30pm. Let's give our souls their right, make time for a monthly date for it's spiritual nourishment, give it a space for reflection, inspiration, and renewal of faith. God-willing, by engaging in these acts of devotion, with much selawats and silaturrahim (participating in communal gatherings), we will find solace and contentment, enhancing our spiritual well-being.

Our monthly Mawlid events typically attract over 150 attendees, excluding volunteers and performers. As it would be in our tradition, our guests are usually served light refreshments and have something to bring home after the event. We would like to share the honour of serving our guests and performers who have come to celebrate the remembrance of our most beloved Prophet ο·Ί with you.
