ALLAH AGHISNA
اللّٰه اللّٰه اَغِثْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللّٰه
يَاعَظِيمَ الْجَاه عَلَيْكَ صَلَوَاتُ اللّٰه
O Allah we seek your aid, O Messenger of Allah.
O possessor of great Honour!
May the blessings of Allah be upon you.
عَبْدٌ بِالْبَابْ يَرْتَجِي لَثْمَ الْأَعْتَابْ
جُدْ بِالْجَوَابْ مَرْحَبًا قَدْ قَبِلْنَاهْ
There is a slave at the door hoping to kiss the doorsteps.
Be generous with a response, ‘Welcome, we have accepted it’.
أَنْتَ الْمَعْرُوفُ بِالْجُودِ مُقْرِي الضُّيُوفْ
إِنِّي مَلْهُوفْ اَغِثْنِي بِحَقِّ اللّٰه
You are known for your generosity, one who honour guests.
Verily I am in a state of sorrow, aid me by Allah.
أَنْتَ الْحَبِيبُ الْأَعْظَمْ سِرُّ الْمُجِيبْ
حَاشَا يَخِيبْ مَنْ لَاذَ بِرَسُولِ اللّٰه
You are the greatest Beloved, a secret of Al-Mujib (The Answerer).
Far be it that the one who seeks refuge with the Messenger Allah is disappointed.
