MAWLANA YA MAWLANA

مَوْلَانَا مَوْلَانَا يَا سَامِعْ دُعَانَا
بِحُرْمَةِ مُحَمَّدٍ لَا تَقْطَعْ رَجَانَا

O our God, O our God, One who listens to our prayers,
by the glory of Prophet Muhammad, don’t You leave us in despair.

إِنَّا إِنْ أَخْطَأْنَا  أَوْ خَطْبٌ دَهَانَا
لَا يَکْشِفْ ضُرَّنَا غَيْرُكَ يَا مَوْلَانَا

Verily when we’ve wronged or when calamity strikes,
there is none that can reveal them except You, O our God.

مَوْلَانَا مَوْلَانَا يَا سَامِعْ دُعَانَا
بِحُرْمَةِ مُحَمَّدٍ لَا تَقْطَعْ رَجَانَا

O our God, O our God, One who listens to our prayers,
by the glory of Prophet Muhammad, don’t You leave us in despair.

إِنْ أَمْرٌ أَحْيَانَا  أَوْ دَهْرٌ هَنَانَا
لَا نَرْجُو مَنْجَانَا إِلَّا مِنْ مَوْلَانَا

When we face problems or when hardships befall upon us,
there is none other that we hope for safety except You, O our God.

مَوْلَانَا مَوْلَانَا يَا سَامِعْ دُعَانَا
بِحُرْمَةِ مُحَمَّدٍ لَا تَقْطَعْ رَجَانَا

O our God, O our God, One who listens to our prayers.
by the glory of Prophet Muhammad, don’t You leave us in despair.

فِي رَجْوَاكَ مَوْلَانَا أَسْهَرْنَا الْأَجْفَانَا
فَامْنُنْ يَا مَوْلَانَا بِفَضْلِكَ لَا تَنْسَانَا

In hoping from You O our God, our eyes are always up at night.
So grant us O our God, by Your Grace, don’t forget us.

مَوْلَانَا مَوْلَانَا يَا سَامِعْ دُعَانَا
بِحُرْمَةِ مُحَمَّدٍ لَا تَقْطَعْ رَجَانَا

O our God, O our God, One who listens to our prayers.
by the glory of Prophet Muhammad, don’t You leave us in despair.

إِلَهِي وَاحْمِ حِمَانَا وَدَمِّرْ مَنْ عَادَنَا
جُدْ فَضْلًا وَإِحْسَانَا  لِأَقْصَانَا وَأَدْنَانَا

O God! Protect our area and remove all our enemies.
Fix us with Your Grace and Your Goodness, of those who are far or near from us.

مَوْلَانَا مَوْلَانَا يَا سَامِعْ دُعَانَا
بِحُرْمَةِ مُحَمَّدٍ لَا تَقْطَعْ رَجَانَا

O our God, O our God, One who listens to our prayers.
by the glory of Prophet Muhammad, don’t You leave us in despair.

رَبِّ اسْمَعْ شَکْوَانَا وَأَجِبْ رَبِّ دُعَانَا
جَمِّلْ وَاجْلِ مَرْعَانَا لَا تُخَيِّبْ مَسْعَانَا

O God! Listen to our cries of complaints and accept our prayers.
Beautify and increase our results of harvest (deeds) and don’t let our efforts go to waste.

مَوْلَانَا مَوْلَانَا يَا سَامِعْ دُعَانَا
بِحُرْمَةِ مُحَمَّدٍ لَا تَقْطَعْ رَجَانَا
