YA BADROTIM

يَا بَدْرَتِمٍّ حَازَ كُلَّ كَمَالِ
مَاذَا يُعَبِّرُ عَنْ عُلَاكَ مَقَالِيْ

O Full Moon that has achieved all perfection,
how can I describe your high status?

أَنْتَ الَّذِيْ أَشْرَقْتَ فِيْ أُفُقِ الْعُلَا
فَمَحَوْتَ بِالْأَنْوَارِ كُلَّ ضَلَالِ

You are the One that rose above the high horizon.
With your Light, you erased all falsehood.

يَا بَدْرَتِمٍّ حَازَ كُلَّ كَمَالِ
مَاذَا يُعَبِّرُ عَنْ عُلَاكَ مَقَالِيْ

O Full Moon that has achieved all perfection,
how can I describe your high status?

وَبِكَ اسْتَنَارَ الْكَوْنُ يَاعَلَمَ الْهُدَى
بِالنُّوْرِ وَالْإِنْعَامِ وَالْإِفْضَالِ

And with you, the universe is illuminated, O Flag of Guidance,
with lights, gifts and favours.

يَا بَدْرَتِمٍّ حَازَ كُلَّ كَمَالِ
مَاذَا يُعَبِّرُ عَنْ عُلَاكَ مَقَالِيْ

O Full Moon that has achieved all perfection,
how can I describe your high status?

صَلّٰى عَلَيْكَ اللّٰهُ رَبِّيْ دَآئِمًا
أَبَدًا مَعَ الْإِبْكَارِ وَالْآصَالِ

Allah’s salutations, my Lord, be upon you eternally.
Forever in the early morning and evening.

يَا بَدْرَتِمٍّ حَازَ كُلَّ كَمَالِ
مَاذَا يُعَبِّرُ عَنْ عُلَاكَ مَقَالِيْ

O Full Moon that has achieved all perfection,
how can I describe your high status?

وَعَلٰى جَمِيْعِ الْآلِ وَالْأَصْحَابِ مَنْ
قَدْ خَصَّهُمْ رَبُّ الْعُلَا بِكَمَالِ

And upon all your family and companions who,
Allah The Lofty of Loftiness, bestowed with perfection.
