﷽

ٱللّٰهُمَّ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ انْظُرْ إِلَيْنَا، ٱللّٰهُمَّ
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ يَا رَحْمٰنُ يَا رَحِيمُ انْظُرْ
إِلَيْنَا، ٱللّٰهُمَّ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ يَا جَوَادُ
يَا كَرِيمُ انْظُرْ إِلَيْنَا

O Allah, O Living, O Self-Existing, gaze upon us! O Allah, O Living, O Self-Existing, O Most Compassionate, O Most Merciful, gaze upon us! O Allah, O Living, O Self-Existing, O Most Generous, gaze upon us!

ٱللّٰهُمَّ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ يَا عَلِيُّ يَا عَظِيمُ
انْظُرْ إِلَيْنَا، ٱللّٰهُمَّ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ
يَا وَاسِعُ يَا سَلامُ انْظُرْ إِلَيْنَا، ٱللّٰهُمَّ
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ
انْظُرْ إِلَيْنَا

O Allah, O Living, O Self-Existing, O Most High, O Most Great, gaze upon us! O Allah, O Living, O Self-Existing, O Limitless One, O Flawless One, gaze upon us! O Allah, O Living, O Self-Existing, O Lord of Majesty and Generosity, gaze upon us!

وَإلَى آبَائِنَا وَأُمَّهَاتِنَا، وَذُرِّيَّاتِنَا وَقُرَابَاتِنَا
وَذَوِي الْحُقُوقِ عَلَيْنَا، وَأَهْلِ مَوَدَّتِنَا، (بِمَا
نَظَرْتَ بِهِ إِلَى سَادَاتِنَا أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ الْأَكْرَمِين
(3× بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِين

Gaze upon our mothers and fathers, our progeny and our relatives, those who have rights over us and those that we love. Gaze upon us as You gazed upon our masters, the noble people of Badr, by Your Mercy, O Most Merciful!

وَاحْشُرْنَا فِي زُمْرَتِهِم، وَأَسْعِدْنَا
بِمُرَافَقَتِهِمْ فِي زُمْرَةِ عَبْدِكَ الْمُصْطَفَى
وَنَبِيِّكَ الْمُجْتَبَى، وَشَفِيعِكَ الْمُبْتَغَى
وَحَبِيبِكَ الْمُنْتَقَى، سَيِّدِ أَهْلِ الأَرْضِ
وَسَيِّدِ أَهْلِ السَّمَاء

Allow us to be with them when we are resurrected, bless us to be in their company, in the party of Your slave, the Chose One, Your Prophet, the one who You selected, Your intercessor, the one who is sought, Your Beloved, the one who You singled out, the Master of the People of the Heavens and Earth.

ٱللّٰهُمَّ (يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ ×3)، نَتَوَجَّهُ إِلَيْكَ
هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةَ بِجَمْعِنَا هَذا لِأُمَّةِ حَبِيبِكَ
الْمُصْطَفَى مُحَمَّد، وَأَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِأَحْوَالِهِمْ
وَمَا نَزَلَ بِهِمْ، (فَيَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ فَرِّجْ
(كُرُوبَهُمْ وَأَصْلِحْ قُلُوْبَهُمْ ×3

O Allah, O Living, O Self-Existing! We turn to you on this night, in this gathering of ours, for the sake of the Ummah of Your Beloved, the Chosen One Muhammad. You know best what their state is and what has befallen them. So O Living, O Self-Existing, relieve their suffering and rectify their hearts.

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ اجْمَعْ عَلَى الْهُدَى
شَمْلَهُمْ، وَأَلِّفْ ذَاتَ بَيْنِهِمْ، يَا حَيُّ
يَا قَيُّومُ اكْشِفْ الشَّدَائِدَ عَنْهُمْ، وَحَوِّلْ
أَحْوَالَهُمْ إِلَى أَحْسَنِ الْأَحْوَال، وَأَظْهِرْ
بَيْنَهُمْ رَايَةَ حَبِيبِكَ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّد
وَارْزُقْهُمْ نَصْرَهَا

O Living, O Self-Existing, unite them on the path of guidance. Bring harmony between them. O Living, O Self-Existing, remove the hardships that have befallen them, transform their states, raise the banner of Your Beloved our Master Muhammad among them and give them the ability to support his cause.

ٱللّٰهُمَّ اشْفِ مَرْضَاهُمْ، وَعَافِ مُبْتَلاهُمْ
وَفُكَّ أَسْرَاهُمْ، واخْذُلْ أَعْدَاءَهُمْ. ٱللّٰهُمَّ
يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ، نَسْأَلُكَ فَرَجَكَ الْقَرِيب
وَغِيَاثَكَ الْعَاجِل، وَنَصْرَكَ الْعَزِيز، وَفَتْحَكَ
الْمُبِين

O Allah, heal the sick among them, bless those who are suffering with wellbeing, free the captives among them, and defeat their enemies. O Allah, O Living, O Self-Existing, we ask You for quick relief, swift support, a mighty victory, and a clear opening.

ٱللّٰهُمَّ يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ، ٱغْفِرْ لَنَا مَا تَقَدَّمَ
مِنْ ذُنُوبِنَا وَمَا تَأَخَّر، وَأَتْمِمْ نِعْمَتَكَ
عَلَيْنَا، وَاهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ المـُسْتَقِيم

O Allah, O Living, O Self-Existing, forgive us our past and future sins, complete Your blessings upon us, and guide us to the Straight Path.

ٱللّٰهُمَّ لَا صَرَفْتَنَا مِنْ مَجْمَعْنَا هَذَا إِلَّا
مَقْبُولِينَ أَجْمَعِين، وَبِالْعَفْوِ وَالْعَافِيَةِ
وَالْأَلْطَافِ مَشْمُولِين، وَمِنْ جَمِيعِ
الْأَسْوَاءِ وَالْآفَاتِ فِي الدَّارَيْنِ
مَحْفُوظِين، وَلِخَيْرَاتِ الدُّنْيَا وَالْبَرْزَخِ
وَالْآخِرَةِ حَائِزِين

O Allah, do not send us forth from this gathering unless You have accepted us all and blessed us with Your pardon, with wellbeing and with Your subtle gifts; and with protection from all harm and evil in both abodes; and bestowed upon us all the good of this life, the Barzakh and the next life.

بِبَرَكَةِ وَوَجَاهَةِ عَبْدِكَ وَحَبِيبِكَ
الْأَمِين، ٱلْمُصْطَفَى مُحَمَّدٍ سَيِّدِ
الْمُرْسَلِين، وَأَهْلِ كِسَائِهِ الْمُكَرَّمِين
عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ وَفَاطِمَةَ الزَّهْرَاءِ
وَالْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ وَسَائِرِ أَبْنَائِهِ وَبَنَاتِهِ
وَذُرِّيَّتِهِ أَجْمَعِين، وَأَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ الطَّاهِرِين

We ask You for this by the blessings and status of Your slave and beloved, the Trustworthy One, the Chosen One, Muhammad, the Master of the Messengers; by the noble People of his Cloak: ‘Alī bin Abī Ṭālib, Fāṭimah al-Zahrā’, al-Ḥasan and al-Ḥusayn and all his sons and daughters and his progeny and the pure people of his Household;

وَخَدِيجَةَ الْكُبْرَى، وَعَائِشَةَ الرِّضَى
وَسَائِرِ أُمَّهَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنِين، وَالْخُلَفَاءِ
الرَّاشِدِين، وَأَهْلِ بَدْرٍ وَأُحُدٍ وَبَيْعَةِ
الْعَقَبَةِ وَبَيْعَةِ الرِّضْوَانِ وَجَمِيعِ
الصَّحْبِ الْأَكْرَمِين، وَأَهْلِ حَضْرَتِهِ
مِنْ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالـمُرْسَلِين، وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ
الْمُقَرَّبِين، وَجَمِيعِ عِبَادِ اللّٰهِ الصَّالِحين

by Khadījah al-Kubrā, ‘Ā’ishah al-Riḍā and all the Mothers of the Believers, the Rightly Guided Caliphs, the people of Badr, Uḥud, those who pledged their allegiance at al-‘Aqabah and those who attained Allah’s pleasure by pledging their allegiance at al-Ḥudaybiyah and all the noble Companions, all those who are in his presence from among the Prophets and Messengers, the angels who have been drawn near and all of Allah’s pious slaves.

وَصَلَّى اللّٰهُ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ وَعَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِين
وَعَلَيْنَا مَعَهُمْ وَفِيهِمْ بِرَحْمَتِكَ يَا أَرْحَمَ
الرَّاحِمِين

May Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him and upon them all and upon us along with them by Your mercy, O Most Merciful!

سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ
وَسَلَامٌ عَلى المـُرْسَلِينَ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ
الْعَالَمِين

Transcendent is your Lord, the Lord of Might, beyond the false things that they ascribe to Him. Peace be upon the Messengers. All praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
