BUSHRO LANA

بُشْرَى لَنَا نِلْنَا الْمُنَى   زَالَ الْعَنَى وَفَى الْهَنَا
وَالدَّهْرُ أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ   وَالْبِشْرُ أَضْحَى مُعْلَنَا

Glad tidings for us, we have attained our highest wish.
Troubles have ceased, and well-being has come.
And destiny has delivered what was promised.
And joy has become manifest everywhere.

يَا نَفْسُ طِيبِي بِاللِّقَاء   يَا عَيْنُ قَرِّى أَعْيُنَا
هَذَا جَمَالُ الْـمُصْطَـفَى   أَنْوَارُهُ لَاحَتْ لَنَا

O soul, enjoy the pleasure in the meeting.
O eye, feel comfort.
This is the beauty of the Chosen One.
His Light shine over us.

بُشْرَى لَنَا نِلْنَا الْمُنَى   زَالَ الْعَنَى وَفَى الْهَنَا
وَالدَّهْرُ أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ   وَالْبِشْرُ أَضْحَى مُعْلَنَا

يَا طَيْبَةُ مَاذَا نَقُولْ   وَفِيكِ قَدْ حَلَّ الرَّسُولْ
وَكُلُّنَا نَرْجُو الْوُصُولْ   لِمُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيِّنَا

O Taibah (Madinah), we have no words,
And in which the Messenger rests.
We all wish to be united,
With Muhammad ﷺ, our Prophet.

بُشْرَى لَنَا نِلْنَا الْمُنَى   زَالَ الْعَنَى وَفَى الْهَنَا
وَالدَّهْرُ أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ   وَالْبِشْرُ أَضْحَى مُعْلَنَا

يَا رَوْضَةَ الْهَادِي الشَّفِيع   وَصَاحِبَتِه وَالْبَقِيع
أُكْـتُبْ لَنَا نَحْنُ الْجَمِيع   زِيَارَةً لِحَبِيبِنَا

O garden (Rawdah) of the Guide and Advocate,
And his two companions and Al-Baqi’.
(O Lord) Ordain for us all,
That we may visit our Beloved (Muhammad ﷺ).

وَالدَّهْرُ أَنْجَزَ وَعْدَهُ   وَالْبِشْرُ أَضْحَى مُعْلَنَا

صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ يَا سَلَامْ   عَلَى النَّبِي مَا حِى الظَّلَامْ
وَالْآلِ وَالصَّحْبِ الْكِـرَامْ   مَاأُنْشِدَتْ بُشْرَى لَنَا

Send salutations and peace, O Peace,
Upon the Prophet, who wiped out darkness.
And upon his Noble family and companions,
While ‘Glad Tidings for us’ are chanted.
